On September 26, 2024, RWTH Aachen University will host several events, including a doctoral workshop and the Women-in-Finance event.

The SemiTemp building will host a doctoral workshop and the Women-in-Finance event, except for the keynote speech of Mila Getmansky Sherman that will take place in the Main Building (Hauptgebäude). 

By public transport

By Bus

Aachen Central Station and RWTH are connected via many different bus lines. You can reach the Main Building or SemiTemp from Aachen Central Station getting off at stop "Driescher Gässchen" or "Technische Hochschule". There are also numerous (direct) connections to Dutch and Belgian communities. You can find the current connections on the ASEAG website or in the free movA app.

By train

Aachen Central Station

There are direct train connections from, for example, Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Hamm, Siegen and Frankfurt/Main to Aachen. Aachen is also connected to the international rail network. There are regular train connections with the high-speed train EUROSTAR between Paris and Cologne via Aachen as well as regional trains to Heerlen in the Netherlands. Aachen West Station

The nearest train station to RWTH is Aachen West. Both RWTH's Main building and SemiTemp are within walking distance. An overview of the departing and arriving trains as well as information on parking, replacement services and accessibility at Aachen West Station can be found on this website. Please Note: Aachen West Station does not have step-free access.

By car

You can reach the RWTH Main Building and SemiTemp via autobahn A4 from Heerlen/Eindhoven or Cologne, and A44 from Düsseldorf/Mönchengladbach or Liege/Brussels. Please also see information on Parking at RWTH.

Environmental Zone

The Environmental Zone or "Umweltzone" was implemented in Aachen on February 1, 2016. From this date, only vehicles with a green sticker or an official permit excluding them from this requirement may drive in this special zone. The majority of the University campus is located within this zone. Use the RWTH Navigator to see the exact location of the Environmental Zone.
